Patricio Elivareo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amado Quintyn. 0-1. If Gualterio Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Glew's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Gipuzkoa came free, but Jacobo Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Patricio Elivareo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itacaruaré FC's Amado Quintyn didn't even have to move. Glew's Jacobo Olo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Gipuzkoa in the 17th minute of play. Arnaldo Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jacobo Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Arnaldo Baumer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Glew getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fabio Pero hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Glew's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Gipuzkoa came free, but Jacobo Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arnaldo Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Igor Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itacaruaré FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Gipuzkoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Igor Gipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Olo was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Gipuzkoa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Olo saved Glew from getting behind. Arnaldo Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Olo having to interfere. A collision led to Itacaruaré FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benedicto Piorno hit a great ball. Gualterio Baristo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Amado Quintyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glew. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucio Todor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amado Quintyn. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Lucio Todor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Igor Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Luzea hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The Glew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Olo should have stopped the shot. Although Itacaruaré FC had been in control for most of the match, Glew still came away with the win.
