Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Chago took the kick off in the first half of the match. The nice shot from Gaston Ledesma in the 3rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Florencio Kaiet had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 7 minutes into the match, Gaston Ledesma notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Independiente's Florencio Kaiet. Florencio Kaiet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albino Lapurdi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fulgencio Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Pipinas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Fulgencio Lucado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pipinas AFC's Justo Eleazar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Rene Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Chago might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Kaiet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Chago ran back to his position shaking his head. Florencio Kaiet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Chago in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Silvio Rio hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, Pipinas AFC's Cristobal Patrido shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Kaiet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pipinas AFC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Chago during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justo Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Pipinas AFC's Domingos Lesardo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gaston Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Kaiet having to interfere. If Fulgencio Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Mario Chago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Kaiet came out of the goal and Mario Chago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Lucado was the one to do the kick off. Remigio Rayman struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Justo Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Remigio Rayman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Justo Eleazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Pipinas AFC's Justo Eleazar got control of the ball when Remigio Rayman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Evarado's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Evarado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pipinas AFC's Gabriel Evarado got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Remigio Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Justo Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pipinas AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Albino Lapurdi hit a great ball. Florencio Kaiet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Chago's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Silvio Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Pipinas AFC's Cristobal Patrido broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Albino Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Delmar Hodei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Mario Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pipinas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Gaston Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Kaiet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
