Arnulfo Cordarell started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ambil's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Handi came free, but Raul Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Humberto Handi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ambil's Raul Hanot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Felipillo in the 9th minute of the match. Arnulfo Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rigoberto Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Ochandio's Humberto Handi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Hanot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Ambil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Timo to maneuver through the defense. Ambil's Aristides Timo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filiberto Markel, made in the 26th minute of the game. If Aristides Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Leonel Niguel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ochandio's Rigoberto Lorien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Leonel Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ochandio defense, Arnulfo Cordarell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Lorien. The Ochandio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Lorien should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Felipillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arnulfo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Felipillo in the 58th minute of play. Rigoberto Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Cordarell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rigoberto Lorien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A well-hit corner resulted in Cirilo Licerio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Aristides Timo's late challenge caught a Ochandio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Timo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ambil getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aristides Timo hit a great ball. Arnulfo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Lorien having to interfere. The supporters of Ochandio booed when Ambil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ochandio's goalkeeper Rigoberto Lorien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnulfo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Lorien having to interfere. If Arnulfo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ambil's Arnulfo Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Cordarell scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Lorien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ambil had played much better football throughout.
