Felix Montay started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Simon Oxel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Romeo Ladio struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Nestor Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S.D Catalina. Gualterio Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Ponc having to interfere. Arsenio Etxepare's late challenge caught a Saladillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Etxepare helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Saladillo. Marcelino Ralondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gogo Ponc. 0-1. Romeo Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Tallia hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Gualterio Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.S.D Catalina getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ciriaco Tallia hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Min in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Ponc saved C.S.D Catalina from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Freddy Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Ponc was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Gogo Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Gualterio Min made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Saladillo booed when C.S.D Catalina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Romeo Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.D Catalina's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualterio Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nestor Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Felix Montay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Seguinus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, C.S.D Catalina's Nicolas Duarte got a free kick in the 70th minute. Freddy Domingues was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Saladillo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 73 minutes, Ciriaco Tallia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.D Catalina and the Saladillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, C.S.D Catalina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Jon to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Saladillo's Marcelino Ralondo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Romeo Ladio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saladillo's Nestor Seguinus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualterio Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Romeo Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Seguinus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montay's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The supporters of C.S.D Catalina booed when Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.S.D Catalina were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
