Gualterio Min showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 24 played minutes ateneo.f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Isusko. In the 28th match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Domingues to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes ateneo.f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Eladio. Freddy Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Millan having to interfere. Ariel Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Min in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, ateneo.f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Min came free, but Ariel Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ateneo.f.c.'s Ariel Millan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save ateneo.f.c. from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Min was the one to do the kick off. Erubiel Frascuelo scored 2-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Seguinus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Min in the 88th minute of play forced ateneo.f.c.'s goalkeeper Ariel Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Aaron Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Saladillo had won after a very even match.
