Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arnoldo Cidro made the kick off which started today's match. Lorenzo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Cidro in the 3rd minute. Dante Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Rey in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Haile Selassie's Eugenio Dominic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Benjamin Cristos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hersilia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haile Selassie the free kick. After 10 played minutes Hersilia FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Cristos. After a rather tough play, Haile Selassie's Eugenio Dominic got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Hersilia FC's Luciano Valery made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Oinatz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Irinel Jienescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Ramos having to make a save. Eugenio Dominic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Ramos made a huge save. Luciano Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dante Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Rey in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Haile Selassie getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eugenio Dominic hit a great ball. If Zacarias Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Rey to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Hersilia FC defense, Arnoldo Cidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Ramos. The Hersilia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Ramos should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Haile Selassie booed when Hersilia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hersilia FC's zone, Irinel Jienescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Ramos came out of the goal and Irinel Jienescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Haile Selassie's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Rey came free, but Dante Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Cidro struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Lorenzo Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haile Selassie. 76 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Cidro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Ramos. Hersilia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Cidro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Sazon Buison hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hersilia FC booed when Haile Selassie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Maties didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haile Selassie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Luciano Valery scored to the left of an out of position Dante Oinatz, making the score, 4-2. In the 94th minute Arnoldo Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haile Selassie's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Irinel Jienescu in the 96th minute. The corner ended in Irinel Jienescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hersilia FC's Lorenzo Ramos did a great save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Haile Selassie had played much better football throughout.
