Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Maldonado in the 3rd minute of play forced Independencia's goalkeeper Gavino Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of lokimamon booed when Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Distiratsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gavino Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Distiratsu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Nevada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Independencia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Angel Abaurre hit a great ball. Luciano Ferrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Idacio made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Jonathan Distiratsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Jonathan Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lokimamon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Distiratsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gavino Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Enrique Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Maureo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luciano Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Ferrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Idacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Maureo might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Idacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleto Maureo ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Nevada having to interfere. Jonathan Distiratsu came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gavino Nevada could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, lokimamon's Jonathan Distiratsu got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, lokimamon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Quentin to maneuver through the defense. When Independencia's Cleto Maureo, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Independencia. Luciano Ferrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Idacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Justino Botello charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Botello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justino Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. lokimamon's Ciriaco Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ferrando in the 80th minute of play. Enrique Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Nevada having to interfere. If Jonathan Distiratsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Idacio having to interfere. Justino Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Cleto Maureo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Independencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Maureo couldn't finish the play. lokimamon's Rodolfo Quentin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Enrique Maldonado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Independencia's Gavino Nevada. Gavino Nevada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. lokimamon played a much better game than Independencia and deserved their victory. The Independencia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
