After recieving a nice pass, Cangrejilla FC's Ivan Markel tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Chale came free, but Emiliano Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emiliano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Olivar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Derqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. Igor Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emiliano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Guter having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Reynaldo Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derqui's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Garoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Thomas made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Edelmiro Thomas sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Reynaldo Garoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Igor Chale put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emiliano Thomas. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Elpidio Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Isias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 62nd minute, Edelmiro Thomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Celedonio Orlanda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Derqui's Emiliano Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Chale in the 75th minute of play. Donato Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Guter having to interfere. Elpidio Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Edelmiro Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Thomas having to interfere. Igor Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cangrejilla FC fully deserved thier win.
