Enrique Telo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacinto Sanduru. Los troncos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Saturnino Pero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Los troncos's Jacinto Sanduru. Jacinto Sanduru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Edorta got free with Cosme Montes in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Apayerey FC's Guillermo Santio got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ignacio Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Montes having to interfere. 13 minutes in the game, Joaquin Ortzi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cosme Montes having to interfere. Apayerey FC's Cosme Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Ortzi in the 13th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Hipolito Nesor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los troncos's Jacinto Sanduru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo Santio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Edorta got free with Cosme Montes in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Bertin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ignacio Edorta could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Cosme Montes however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Los troncos's Ignacio Edorta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosme Montes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joaquin Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Montes having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Apayerey FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Bertin. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Los troncos's Ignacio Edorta in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apayerey FC's goalie prevented a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Joaquin Ortzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Montes. Apayerey FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Ortzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cosme Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Humberto Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ortzi in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apayerey FC's goalkeeper Cosme Montes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Curcio's late challenge caught a Apayerey FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Curcio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Apayerey FC booed when Los troncos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes, Apayerey FC's Guillermo Santio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Sanduru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apayerey FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Saturnino Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apayerey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Pero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los troncos's Jacinto Sanduru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Los troncos from getting a goal against them. Cosme Montes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Ortzi's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Ignacio Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los troncos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Apayerey FC. Diego Sergi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacinto Sanduru. 3-2. The supporters of Los troncos booed when Apayerey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Edorta in the 92nd minute of the match. Los troncos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
