Bartolo Gaztea's late challenge caught a Hereford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Gaztea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Con esta getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bartolo Gaztea hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Aureliano Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Con esta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hereford the free kick. Aureliano Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Aurelio Rodas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Celedonio Beltxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Con esta. Marcelo Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Van Bever having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Tibalt in the 19th minute of play forced Con esta's goalkeeper Ronny Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Hereford's Celedonio Beltxe got control of the ball when Aurelio Rodas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Van Bever having to interfere. Aureliano Ponciano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Hereford got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Lon. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hugo Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hereford's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Tibalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Van Bever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Iratxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Beltxe having to make a save. Tomás Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ronny Van Bever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Iratxo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Con esta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Victorio Iratxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. If Angelino Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Aurelio Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Con esta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Rodas couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Iratxo in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hereford's Alonzo Beltxe got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Aurelio Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Con esta's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Rodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Celedonio Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Con esta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eulalio Ralondo hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Aureliano Ponciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Con esta fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Con esta's Victorio Iratxo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celedonio Beltxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Rodas's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of Con esta booed when Hereford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hereford's Marcelo Lon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronny Van Bever. That made the score 1-1 after 94 minutes of play.
