Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Santiago Poncio took the kick off in the first half of the match. German Mederi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Poncio went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santiago Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Mederi having to interfere. Benjamin Hondo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Mendebal during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Roman Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Placido Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Joel Orland sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Instituto Plate's Cristobal Gaufred didn't even have to move. A collision led to Instituto Plate getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roman Mendebal hit a great ball. Placido Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Gaufred having to interfere. Roman Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With his leg Cristobal Gaufred managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Dúrham's German Maule fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Instituto Plate's goalkeeper Cristobal Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Mederi having to interfere. Instituto Plate's Cristobal Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Instituto Plate from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the game, Placido Lia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristobal Gaufred. Placido Lia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Lia to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Lia in the 58th minute of play forced Instituto Plate's goalkeeper Cristobal Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Instituto Plate's Ignacio Iliana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Mederi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Roque Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dúrham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Instituto Plate the free kick. After 60 played minutes Dúrham got a freekick which was hit by Roque Luzaide. Santiago Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute German Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Lia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Gaufred having to make a save. If Placido Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dúrham booed when Instituto Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Joel Orland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Gaufred showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Santiago Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dúrham's German Mederi got control of the ball when Ignacio Iliana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dúrham were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Instituto Plate for a fine match.
