Codihué's Ubaldo Endira got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Crescencio in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Olayo saved Frankito United from getting behind. When Ubaldo Endira came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Codihué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Endira couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Teodosio Ferrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Olayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Teodosio Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Endira in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Diego Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codihué's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Crescencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
