Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Yupandú FC's Lino Laurendi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Lino Laurendi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tipán's Nicolas Beltza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tipán's Nicolas Beltza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Laurendi in the 8th minute of play. Nicolas Beltza stood somewhat misplaced when Emanuel Tolino came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Lino Laurendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Beltza made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Emanuel Tolino sent off a good shot on target. Yupandú FC's Severino Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Nikola in the 26th minute of play. Justo Louis charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Louis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Justo Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Tolino got free with Nicolas Beltza in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tipán booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Oinatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Lino Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Beltza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lino Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Yupandú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Laurendi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Emanuel Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yupandú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Tolino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Beltza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Hanot to strike the kick off in the second half. If Emanuel Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Gaztea during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tipán getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Placido Gaztea hit a great ball. The supporters of Tipán booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Beltza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Yupandú FC's Lino Laurendi in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tipán's goalie prevented a goal. Emanuel Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lino Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Tipán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Nikola to maneuver through the defense. Justo Louis was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 83 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Louis. Emanuel Tolino took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Beltza. Nicolas Beltza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
