After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Justo Louis got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Frankito United booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Lucero having to interfere. If Celestino Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Igor Colon got a free kick in the 19th minute. Yupandú FC's Severino Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Garaona in the 28th minute of play. Celestino Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Lucero made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Celestino Chan sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes of play, Frankito United's Celestino Chan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Lucero was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Garaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justo Louis's late challenge caught a Frankito United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Louis helped the player get up and apologised. Justo Louis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Frankito United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Lino Laurendi scored to the left of an out of position Ildefonso Olayo, making the score, 1-1. Celestino Chan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Lucero having to make a save. Leopoldo Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Desiderio Chico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Lucero. Yupandú FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severino Lucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Chan in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Desiderio Chico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frankito United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yupandú FC the free kick. Ildefonso Olayo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lino Laurendi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. After 81 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Laurendi. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frankito United's goalkeeper Ildefonso Olayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Yupandú FC defense, Celestino Chan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Lucero. The Yupandú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Lucero should have stopped the shot. If Diego Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
