In the 12th minute, Santo Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo Quinton. The goal made the score 1-0. Raimundo Urtats hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Olascoaga FC's Raimundo Urtats got a free kick in the 17th minute. Oscar Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Fonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Raimundo Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Sotero to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar Benvide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Urtats in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Olascoaga FC defense, Luciano Enetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Quinton. The Olascoaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Quinton should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Amor struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Oscar Benvide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olascoaga FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Amor in the 67th minute of play forced Mangrullo's goalkeeper Oscar Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Felo in the 69th minute of play forced Olascoaga FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Isias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Oscar Benvide made a huge save. Octavio Isias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Oscar Benvide when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Godfredo Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Oscar Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Godfredo Fonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olascoaga FC and the Mangrullo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Olascoaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Fonso. Olascoaga FC's Eduardo Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Sotero in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Valentin Sotero notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Olascoaga FC's Eduardo Quinton. Eduardo Quinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Mangrullo got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Acevedo. After a rather tough play, Olascoaga FC's Octavio Isias got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mangrullo's zone, Zeledon Amor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Benvide came out of the goal and Zeledon Amor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mangrullo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
