The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Isauro was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The supporters of Concepción booed when Tambillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Isauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pastor Michael hit a great ball. Tambillos AFC's Ciriaco Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Estebe in the 45th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Fulgencio Oihenarte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Tambillos AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Concepción were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Blai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tambillos AFC's Ciriaco Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Batista in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Blai in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Oihenarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciriaco Isauro was a little too slow when Ignacio Estebe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. Hugo Benitez hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 1-2 came in the 66th minute when Niceto Ceandro all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Fulgencio Oihenarte. With an all-out effort, Concepción's Ciriaco Isauro threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Estebe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Estebe in the 78th minute of play forced Tambillos AFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Ciriaco Isauro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ignacio Estebe in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lázaro Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Hugo Benitez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tambillos AFC's Ciriaco Isauro didn't even have to move. When the match was over Concepción could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tambillos AFC throughout the match.
