After having played for 16 minutes, Gilberto Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pule FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Felipillo stood somewhat misplaced when Gilberto Rio came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Rodrigo Felipillo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gilberto Rio sent off a good shot on target. Chañarito FC's Segundo Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Felix Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pule FC's Gilberto Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Rio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Felipillo having to make a save. Diego Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rodrigo Felipillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes in the game, Diego Tancredo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodrigo Felipillo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chañarito FC's zone, Diego Tancredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Felipillo came out of the goal and Diego Tancredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Cordairo to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Pule FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Rio to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Felipillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aldo Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Rio in the 68th minute of the match. Rodrigo Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Rio in the 71st minute of play. Gilberto Rio ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the game, Chañarito FC's Aldo Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chañarito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Cordairo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Ferrer got free with Felix Gurutz in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
