The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodrigo Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Erasto in the 2nd minute of play. Eriberto Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kadabra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Segundo Cordairo scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Ermengol, making the score, 1-0. Adrian Cordaryal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Chañarito FC's Rodrigo Felipillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Fiz in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Chañarito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Erasto came free, but Rodrigo Felipillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Kadabra defense, Aldo Ferrer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Ermengol. The Kadabra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Ermengol should have stopped the shot. Kadabra's Angelo Ermengol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Kadabra from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Chañarito FC booed when Kadabra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Erasto to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Cordairo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Ermengol saved Kadabra from getting behind. After 56 played minutes Kadabra got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Banegas. Ramiro Erasto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Felipillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ramiro Erasto might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Felipillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Erasto ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Aldo Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañarito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Ermengol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, Leonel Ibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kadabra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chañarito FC the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Kadabra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ibar to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Felipillo was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Mariano Banegas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Banegas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Aldo Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Ermengol having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Eriberto Fiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Felipillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Fiz got free with Rodrigo Felipillo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Flavio Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañarito FC's protests and gave Flavio Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chañarito FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Flavio Clementi hit a great ball. Kadabra were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
