After 19 minutes, Cecilio Marino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chañarito FC's Rodrigo Felipillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Segundo Cordairo scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Cerilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Baudelio in the 27th minute of play forced Chañarito FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Laureano James shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Felipillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cosme Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Felipillo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Amistad de Barrio defense, Flavio Clementi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Cerilo. The Amistad de Barrio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Cerilo should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Macario thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rodrigo Felipillo, a very annoying self made goal in the 38th minute which led to 2-2. Flavio Clementi's late challenge caught a Amistad de Barrio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Clementi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Flavio Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Cordairo in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cosme Saturnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Felipillo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Chañarito FC defense, Cosme Saturnin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Felipillo. The Chañarito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Felipillo should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Saturnin to make the kick off. When Cosme Saturnin got free in front of the goal in the 54th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rodrigo Felipillo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Flavio Clementi was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Flavio Clementi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Aldo Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nunez Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Rico in the 68th minute of play. Ulises Dolcet hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Ulises Dolcet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amistad de Barrio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. If Blas Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Saturnin in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodrigo Felipillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rodrigo Felipillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Saturnin went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cosme Saturnin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chañarito FC's Rodrigo Felipillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Segundo Cordairo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañarito FC's protests and gave Segundo Cordairo a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Saturnin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Felipillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cecilio Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amistad de Barrio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
