He walked away shaking his head. Igor Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Vasco in the 12th minute of the match. Igor Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Estudiantes de La Plata getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Honorato Vasco hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Elpidio Clementi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brinkmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Clementi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Miguel Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Herminio Macerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Pacorro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Dionisio Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Iriart having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Brinkmann's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Macerio came free, but Igor Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Lizardi in the 39th minute of play forced Brinkmann's goalkeeper Igor Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Lando's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de La Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Lando helped the player get up and apologised. Ciriaco Lando hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, Brinkmann's Miguel Innocenzio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zelipe Iriart was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dionisio Lizardi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Clementi in the 52nd minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Zelipe Iriart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Pacorro came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de La Plata's Herminio Macerio. But to his dismay, Herminio Macerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Lizardi in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Pacorro saved Brinkmann from getting behind. After 64 minutes, Honorato Vasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de La Plata and the Brinkmann players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Vasco to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zelipe Iriart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brinkmann's Igor Pacorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Brinkmann from getting a goal against them. Oséas Vaz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Igor Pacorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de La Plata. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Lizardi in the 85th minute of play forced Brinkmann's goalkeeper Igor Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Dănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Igor Pacorro made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Brinkmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Filip Dănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
