Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Efraim in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Orlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Ceibas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Efraim came free, but Gavino Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Tadeo Tono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Orlin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teobaldo Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Joaquin Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Jaume during the 19th minute. When Octavio Fernado came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ceibas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Fernado couldn't finish the play. After 31 played minutes Simogasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Eli. Gogo Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Efraim was the one to do the kick off. Gavino Orlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Enekoitz in the 52nd minute of the match. Gavino Orlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Enekoitz's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Ceibas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ceibas FC booed when Simogasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Simogasta FC were the better team. Simogasta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
