An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Birjaio in the 48th minute of play forced Irving SS's goalkeeper Alfredo Celino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epifanio Birjaio made a kick off. Nemesio Clodios short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Alfredo Celino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Samuel Artaldo's late challenge caught a Lumat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
