In the 47th match minute, Fortune Chaser was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Arano to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Olo to make the kick off. Tiburcio Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Venceslas having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Ciro Lia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute of the match Blas Quintin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saturnino Venceslas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tiburcio Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
