When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Erasto made a kick off. In the 96th play minute Teobaldo Egoi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jack McRobbie. 3-5. When the final whistle went the supporters of Glorioso Vélez Sársfield were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Deportivo Almela side.
