Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Abreu got the match started through his kick off. Antonio Abreu scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Llorenc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Perdices booed when Columbus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filomeno Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomero Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Antonio Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Llorenc having to interfere. When Antonio Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Columbus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Abreu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Abreu in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Llorenc saved Perdices from getting behind. Danilo Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Llorenc having to interfere. Emilio Hotz's late challenge caught a Perdices's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Hotz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Columbus getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emilio Hotz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Bernebe in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Filomeno Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Columbus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Karlo couldn't finish the play. After the first half Columbus were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Bernebe made a kick off. Baldomero Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Regis in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Silverio Bernebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Benvido was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Esteban Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Abreu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Danilo Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Columbus were awarded a corner. Antonio Abreu went to the cornerflag to take it. If Silverio Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Regis in the 70th minute of play forced Columbus's goalkeeper Baldomero Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Karlo in the 73rd minute of play. Filomeno Karlo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 80 minutes into the match, Columbus's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Regis came free, but Baldomero Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perdices's Aurelio Ourente couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Columbus. Danilo Amato kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Silverio Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Columbus's Danilo Amato got a free kick in the 91st minute. Columbus's Baldomero Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Bernebe in the 92nd minute of play. Filomeno Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Llorenc having to interfere. Columbus were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
