Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Marz started the match with the kick off. Defensores del Dorado's Rafael Marz got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gustavo Silvanito came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the El Palomar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Silvanito couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Neto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Silvestre Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Cristobal Roano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Dorado. Silvestre Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Roano having to interfere. Cristobal Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Marz in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Defensores del Dorado's Silvestre Porfirio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Silvestre Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Defensores del Dorado's Rafael Marz in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Palomar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cirilo Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthoon Van Heurick having to interfere. Gustavo Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Enetz was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Marz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cristobal Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristobal Roano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Marz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Rafael Marz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Roano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Porfirio in the 76th minute of play forced El Palomar FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rafael Marz sped through El Palomar FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristobal Roano. Rafael Marz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Cristobal Roano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Dorado. After having played for 86 minutes, Rafael Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Dorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Marz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Roano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Dorado's Rafael Marz. But to his dismay, Rafael Marz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Rafael Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
