The supporters of Club Atletico Alvarado booed when sabaleros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Mikelats didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Peter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Bruno Policarpio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Alvarado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sabaleros the free kick. A collision led to sabaleros getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Duardo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, sabaleros's Javier Mikolas got a free kick in the 60th minute. Anacleto Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Mariano Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Peter having to interfere. After 76 minutes Club Atletico Alvarado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafin Isadore who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on sabaleros's corner Danilo Abreu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Epifanio Peter quite easily take care of the ball. Club Atletico Alvarado's Arturo Diaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by German Mikelats, made in the 78th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
