Pablo Mitxel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Pablo Mitxel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Jatsu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Iker Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iacob Petruț made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eugenio Birjaio sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Durazno defense, Iker Jatsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Mitxel. The Durazno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Mitxel should have stopped the shot. Teodosio Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Petruț having to interfere. The throw-in from Eulalio Maore in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Durazno's Abel Balesio. A collision led to Darwen Football Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aristides Bonifaco hit a great ball. Teodosio Aguirre hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Durazno's Eugenio Birjaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iacob Petruț made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eugenio Birjaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Petruț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Eugenio Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Iacob Petruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Anselmo Odilon made the kick off in the second half. Darwen Football Club's Iacob Petruț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Aguirre in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Braulio Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Iacob Petruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Darwen Football Club defense, Mario Cutberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Petruț. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Birjaio in the 69th minute of play forced Darwen Football Club's goalkeeper Iacob Petruț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Iker Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darwen Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Mitxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iacob Petruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Cutberto in the 77th minute of play. Aristides Bonifaco hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Darwen Football Club's Iacob Petruț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Birjaio in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Birjaio in the 82nd minute of play forced Darwen Football Club's goalkeeper Iacob Petruț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iacob Petruț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 95th minute Mario Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Petruț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Eugenio Birjaio sped through Darwen Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iacob Petruț. Durazno were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
