Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) JUVENTUD's Anselmo Asteri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gaston Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute, Cipriano Cordaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Laurin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Jairo Txindoki fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Washington's protests and gave Jairo Txindoki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of JUVENTUD booed when Washington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anselmo Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the JUVENTUD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Asteri couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Washington's zone, Anselmo Asteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Arixo came out of the goal and Anselmo Asteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Washington's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Amor came free, but Gaspar Arixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cipriano Cordaro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Washington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Cordaro couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind JUVENTUD's goalkeeper Leon Laurin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Cordaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Anselmo Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gaspar Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Asteri in the 52nd minute of play forced Washington's goalkeeper Gaspar Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Amor struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gaspar Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVENTUD. Gaspar Arixo was a little too slow when Anselmo Asteri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. Gaston Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anselmo Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the JUVENTUD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Asteri couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gaston Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Arixo having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Anselmo Asteri made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Washington's Gaspar Arixo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, JUVENTUD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Nikola to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Amor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Arixo having to make a save. Washington's Gaspar Arixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Washington from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded JUVENTUD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Washington.
