Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Mario Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gaspar Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Teofilo Refugio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Mitxel. Teofilo Refugio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Teodosio Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Aguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Arixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Cutberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Arixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Durazno's Abel Balesio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Venancio Etxatxu, made in the 24th minute of the game. If Abel Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodosio Aguirre struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gaspar Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno. Jairo Txindoki hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Celestino Porfiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Arixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Gaspar Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Gaspar Arixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Porfiro in the 38th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Washington got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Hibai. Gaspar Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Porfiro in the 43rd minute of play. Pablo Mitxel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Refugio made a kick off. Cipriano Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Mitxel having to interfere. Durazno's Pablo Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Cordaro in the 57th minute of play. Mauro Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mauro Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Arixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Teofilo Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Durazno's Eugenio Birjaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Arixo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Durazno's Gaspar Arixo threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodosio Aguirre, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute, Eugenio Birjaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Durazno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Amadeo Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Abel Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaspar Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Cutberto in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Eugenio Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Abel Balesio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Arixo. Washington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Balesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Gaspar Arixo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Eugenio Birjaio sent off a good shot on target. The Washington fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Durazno were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
