Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Efrain Mero got the match started through his kick off. In the 18th minute, Ulises Lastur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22nd play minutes Ulises Lastur shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Epifanio Iturri and just under the crossbar into goal. Hidalgo FC's Epifanio Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Lastur in the 25th minute of play. Epifanio Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Epifanio Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Hidalgo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Lastur came free, but Epifanio Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Lastur in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Iturri saved Hidalgo FC from getting behind. Alejandro Fix made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Orlando Kiliz sent off a good shot on target. Epifanio Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Lastur in the 46th minute of the match. Marcelo Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Epifanio Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Lastur to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Lastur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Iturri. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hidalgo FC's Leonardo Sandaili got a free kick in the 57th minute. Epifanio Iturri made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Marco Mannuel sent off a good shot on target. Hidalgo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Ulises Lastur scored to the left of an out of position Epifanio Iturri, making the score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Hidalgo FC defense, Marcelo Gaueko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Iturri. The Hidalgo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Iturri should have stopped the shot. Epifanio Iturri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Gaueko in the 74th minute. Fulgencio Esiquio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Marcelo Gaueko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Epifanio Iturri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Marcelo Gaueko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Lastur in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Iturri saved Hidalgo FC from getting behind. Marcelo Gaueko struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Epifanio Iturri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garupá. Epifanio Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fulgencio Esiquio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Esiquio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Hidalgo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Esiquio. Marcelo Gaueko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Epifanio Iturri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ulises Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Garupá eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
