Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulises Lastur made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Lastur in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Itzaina saved Catriló from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Ulises Lastur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evaristo Itzaina, 1-0. Evaristo Itzaina made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Marcelo Gaueko sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Isaias Cucao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Fix. Garupá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Cucao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Catriló's zone, Ulises Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Itzaina came out of the goal and Ulises Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Fix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Ulises Lastur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Itzaina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 24th minute, Marciano Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Anibal Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Ulises Lastur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 32nd minute Ulises Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Itzaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Lastur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catriló's Enrique Lehen got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Lehen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Catriló got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Ourente. After a defensive mix-up in Catriló's zone, Ulises Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Itzaina came out of the goal and Ulises Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Garupá's Celedonio Selmo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Marcelo Gaueko took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Itzaina. Evaristo Itzaina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Lastur in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Itzaina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulises Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Itzaina having to interfere. The supporters of Garupá booed when Catriló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Osorio struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alejandro Fix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catriló. Enrique Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
