He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in viernes fc reached it. Apolo Lehoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Gasteiz having to interfere. The supporters of Maipú FC booed when viernes fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maipú FC's Julio Mero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for viernes fc. viernes fc's Hilario Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Lehior in the 16th minute of play. Braulio Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Apolo Lehoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Silviano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Matxin in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Lehior in the 31st minute of play forced viernes fc's goalkeeper Hilario Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomás Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Maipú FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Melchor Semeno hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, viernes fc's Honorio Cresitobalo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Saverio Lehior managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maipú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Lehior was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Saturnin made a kick off. In the 51st minute Tomás Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maipú FC's Eduardo Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Saturnin in the 62nd minute of play. Justino Matxin scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Silviano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Silviano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Saturnin's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Julio Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Cresitobalo in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Justino Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. viernes fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Silviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maipú FC's Melchor Semeno got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Melchor Semeno off the ground. A collision led to Maipú FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Melchor Semeno hit a great ball. Eduardo Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Matxin in the 97th minute of the match. Maipú FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
