Guillermo Sugoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Monte in the 31st minute of the match. Jeremias Bizi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Barrio Almagro's Baldomiro Deunoro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esteban Cortez but with some difficulty. When Guillermo Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Barrio Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Sugoi couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Sugoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Esteban Cortez made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Noqueces AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Sugoi. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Barrio Almagro's Paulino Beturian in the 44th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Esteban Cortez was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Noqueces AFC through an amazing save. Guillermo Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Beturian to make the kick off. Guillermo Sugoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Jerrald hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Barrio Almagro got a corner. Noqueces AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baldomiro Deunoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 59th minute Paulino Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guillermo Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Barrio Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Sugoi couldn't finish the play. Paulino Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Cortez having to interfere. Barrio Almagro's Ulises Ekialde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Barrio Almagro from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Firmin in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulises Ekialde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 88 minutes into the match, Barrio Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Monte came free, but Ulises Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Firmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ulises Ekialde made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
