The shot was stopped by Esteban Cortez but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Noqueces AFC's Santos Monte got a free kick in the 11th minute. Severino Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Real alcoholicos FC's Alberto Iyan suffered a concussion after 18 minutes and had to leave the field. Amado Jerrald's late challenge caught a Real alcoholicos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Real alcoholicos FC's zone, Santos Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Dalmau came out of the goal and Santos Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Emilio Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Bizi during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Noqueces AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Bizi. Esteban Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Steven in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Santos Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noqueces AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Firmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rigoberto Dalmau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santos Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Real alcoholicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Paul.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Monte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Santos Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real alcoholicos FC's Rigoberto Dalmau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Horacio Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Real alcoholicos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Firmin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Horacio Paul's late challenge caught a Noqueces AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Paul helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Horacio Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes, Noqueces AFC's Amado Jerrald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rigoberto Dalmau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Noqueces AFC reached it. With a little luck, Real alcoholicos FC's Rigoberto Dalmau got control of the ball when Jonathan Firmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Santos Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noqueces AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Dalmau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Emilio Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Bizi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Noqueces AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
