In the 12th minute, one of Morteros FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morteros FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Beila got free with Lino Maldonado in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Ekain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Primeiro having to make a save. Enzo Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Beila got free with Lino Maldonado in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morteros FC's Norberto Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Ekain in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Morteros FC's Cosme Bikendi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosme Bikendi made a kick off. If Enzo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lino Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Beila in the 70th minute of the match. When Damian Bitxintxo fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dog Soldiers F.C.'s protests and gave Damian Bitxintxo a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Bitxintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Lino Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Morteros FC's goalkeeper Norberto Primeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Napier. Enzo Ekains short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Norberto Primeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Ekain in the 94th minute of play forced Morteros FC's goalkeeper Norberto Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Bikendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Maldonado having to make a save. Lino Maldonado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Beila went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Morteros FC had won after a very even match.
