Emiliano Obano's late challenge caught a Moonchester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Obano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Moonchester FC booed when Gato Encerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Moonchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Vimaro. Julian Txomin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Moonchester FC booed when Gato Encerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Vimaro in the 17th minute of the match. Primitivo Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Eutor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Ignacio Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Genaro Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moonchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Fidencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Gato Encerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Eleuterio Elivareo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moonchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Elivareo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Miguel Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Abadia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Vimaro went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fernando Inocente made the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Abadia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Gato Encerrado's Primitivo Abadia got control of the ball when Godofredo Cai tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Gato Encerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Elivareo came free, but Primitivo Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Elivareo in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Gato Encerrado got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Obano. The supporters of Moonchester FC booed when Gato Encerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eleuterio Elivareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moonchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Elivareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Abadia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moonchester FC played a much better game than Gato Encerrado and deserved their victory. The Gato Encerrado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
