An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Quinito in the 6th minute of play forced Capacho's goalkeeper Danilo Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capacho's Danilo Unai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Capacho from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capacho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Gualterio Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capacho's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Belasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Quinito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Quinito was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Harri during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Capacho getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eloy Harri hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Delmiro Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santi.River's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gualterio Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capacho's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Belasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Santi.River fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 75th minute, Hipolito Irrintzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nestor Quinito fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santi.River's protests and gave Nestor Quinito a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Quinito hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Delmiro Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Gualterio Belasko took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Silvio Normando to make any attempt to save it. After 91 minutes of play, Santi.River's Delmiro Sauveur made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
