Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Saturnino Justin got the match started through his kick off. Erubiel Leocadio's late challenge caught a Deportivo San Juan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Leocadio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cucullú FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Erubiel Leocadio hit a great ball. The supporters of Cucullú FC booed when Deportivo San Juan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Micael's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pastor Gaitan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Saturnino Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Juan's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Benvido came free, but Lucio Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Angel Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Leoncio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Lázaro Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pastor Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Deportivo San Juan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cucullú FC:s goal. The referee gave Cucullú FC a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Leoncio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo San Juan's Lucio Ulizes. 0-1. 42 minutes into the game, Deportivo San Juan's Angelo Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Gaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 44th match minute, Deportivo San Juan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Azibar to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Ulizes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Sandaili in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo San Juan's zone, Angel Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Ulizes came out of the goal and Angel Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Juan's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Benvido came free, but Lucio Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Justin in the 60th minute of play. Cucullú FC's Lázaro Sandaili was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Juan's goalkeeper Lucio Ulizes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Sandaili. If Lázaro Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Lázaro Sandaili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucullú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Sandaili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes Deportivo San Juan got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Hats. If Saturnino Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Deportivo San Juan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cucullú FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cucullú FC.
