Florencio Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Mazuste having to interfere. Sergio Calvino charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Calvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Laprida's Sergio Calvino got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Pastor Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Lalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Gonsalve scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Mazuste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to PORVENTOR getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Varfolomey Syroezhkin hit a great ball.

Laprida's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zeledon Markel hit a great ball. Cleto Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Manny in the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Felix Gonsalve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cleto Mazuste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by Xamin Narria in the 72nd minute really tested Pastor Tartalo's skills.
