The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The FC SANTORO fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when FC SANTORO's Justino Garaona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eustacio Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Generoso Romelio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sixto Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Romelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Eustacio Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Generoso Romelio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Hernandez in the 17th minute of play forced FC SANTORO's goalkeeper Generoso Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Generoso Romelio made a huge save. Sixto Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Generoso Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS MALA FAMA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Fernandes got free with Generoso Romelio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC SANTORO were furious when Gervasio Teyo was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for LOS MALA FAMA. Silverio Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Generoso Romelio. 3-1. Eustacio Fernandes scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Romelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Anastasio Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, LOS MALA FAMA's Silverio Azevedo tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
