If Lucas Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeronimo Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Ramirez having to interfere. Inocencio Policarpio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Monteverde got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Policarpio. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Feliciano Lartaun got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Igor Gai sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monteverde's Octavio Larpe didn't even have to move. Lucas Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of La banda del Matadero booed when Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Iban in the 30th minute of the match. Silvano Isauro struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Octavio Larpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La banda del Matadero. After a rather tough play, La banda del Matadero's Alvaro Llorenc got a free kick in the 37th minute. Octavio Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Igor Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Silvano Isauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Larpe. Monteverde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Isauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Monteverde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La banda del Matadero were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Guillelmo to make the kick off. Octavio Larpe made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Antonio Guillelmo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Policarpio during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Silvano Isauro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Larpe. Silvano Isauro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Lucas Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Octavio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Evis came free, but Octavio Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Juvenal in the 77th minute of the match. Marcos Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Monteverde getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcos Fonda hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La banda del Matadero's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ramirez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celso Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ubaldo Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La banda del Matadero's Roque Liberto was substituted for Rogelio Eliazar. After 92 minutes of play Monteverde's Inocencio Policarpio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Inocencio Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, La banda del Matadero's Aaron Senin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Larpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded La banda del Matadero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monteverde.
