Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Monteverde's Jeronimo Sein started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Fortun's late challenge caught a Copacabana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Fortun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Rolando Fortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monteverde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dionisio Quirce was slow to take the kick. During this time Copacabana's players had a chance to rest. Copacabana's Dionisio Quirce was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavio Larpe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alfredo Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copacabana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Lluterio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Lluterio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Octavio Larpe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Monteverde's Octavio Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Pasqual in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Braulio Pasqual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Larpe was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Lluterio got free with Octavio Larpe in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Inocencio Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Braulio Pasqual notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Monteverde's Octavio Larpe. Octavio Larpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Alfredo Lluterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Octavio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Larpe having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Lluterio struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Octavio Larpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copacabana. Octavio Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Copacabana's Braulio Pasqual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Larpe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octavio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Pasqual in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Lluterio came free, but Octavio Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Braulio Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Lluterio in the 71st minute of play. Alfredo Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Larpe having to interfere. In the 76th minute Alfredo Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Braulio Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copacabana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Pasqual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Copacabana booed when Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Dionisio Quirce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Larpe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Braulio Pasqual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monteverde's Octavio Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Pasqual in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Jeronimo Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Copacabana's Alfredo Lluterio got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Pasqual took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Larpe. Octavio Larpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Copacabana had played much better football throughout.
