After 20 played minutes Roma de la Boca got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Afonso. Roma de la Boca's Nemesio Alonso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cochuna. After a defensive mix-up in Cochuna's zone, Cristian Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Blasco came out of the goal and Cristian Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roma de la Boca's Anier Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Orain in the 32nd minute of play. If Cristian Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ciro Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Roma de la Boca's Bruno Osasun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Corderro made a kick off. Cristian Baumar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Orain struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Anier Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochuna. After 61 played minutes Cochuna got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Perico. After a rather tough play, Roma de la Boca's Elvio Misael got a free kick in the 65th minute. Anier Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Orain in the 66th minute. Roma de la Boca's Anier Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Roma de la Boca from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Ciro Corderro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabricio Orain struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Anier Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochuna. 74 minutes into the match, Cochuna's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Baumar came free, but Artemio Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cochuna booed when Roma de la Boca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Roma de la Boca's zone, Ciro Corderro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Alvarez came out of the goal and Ciro Corderro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Osasun hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fabricio Orains short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Anier Alvarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cochuna's goalkeeper Artemio Blasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
