The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Araoz got free with Lázaro Udalaitz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Ferrocarril Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, AcuñA's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Ibar came free, but Lázaro Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Fidencio made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Sixto Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. If Fulgencio Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Etxekopar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Anselmo Fidencio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute, Teodoro Rosalio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
