Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aurelio Ereinotz made the kick off and thus started the match. Fermin Txatxu's late challenge caught a Nefaigav's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Txatxu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ascensión's Fermin Txatxu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Nefaigav was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Ermengol to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Ereinotz in the 10th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Aurelio Ereinotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ascensión's Damian Tavio managed to work through Nefaigav's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Damian Tavio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Uriel Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Cesario in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Maximino Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nefaigav's Ubaldo Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cesario in the 34th minute of play. The corner ended in Godfredo Joey almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nefaigav's Ubaldo Micael did a great save. Ubaldo Micael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Tavio's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Ascensión's Honorio Montae got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes, Nefaigav's Tiburcio Moise shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prospero Vimaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nefaigav reached it. If Uriel Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Tavio scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Micael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Ascensión were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Tavio made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Tavio in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Micael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Damian Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Ermengol was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 58 played minutes Nefaigav got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Ermengol. Uriel Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Nefaigav's goalkeeper Ubaldo Micael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Cesario. Damian Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ubaldo Micael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Godfredo Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Tavio took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Micael. Ubaldo Micael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 77th minute, Damian Tavio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ascensión fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 82nd minute, Uriel Cesario fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Cesario got free with Ubaldo Micael in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ubaldo Micael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Filomeno Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Ascensión left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nefaigav.
