Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gregorio Atarrabi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Gregorio Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Atarrabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Cachiyuyu's João Gois threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Ramirez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miguel Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Cortez in the 15th minute of play forced Cachiyuyu's goalkeeper Ceferino Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Cachiyuyu's Guaberto Ramirez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Gois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Olimpo's João Gois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Ramirez in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Guaberto Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Gois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Segundo Rocio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cachiyuyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Rocio couldn't finish the play. If Gregorio Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Godoy got free with João Gois in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Godoy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, João Gois skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Miguel Godoy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 42nd playminute. In the 45th minute, Segundo Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Gregorio Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Olimpo getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Hector Gamus hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Ramirez made a kick off. Miguel Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Gois having to make a save. Gregorio Atarrabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ceferino Lartaun made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo's zone, Miguel Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Gois came out of the goal and Miguel Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lartaun having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Cachiyuyu got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Ortle. Olimpo made a substitution. Herbert Gaszynski replaced Gregorio Atarrabi. 75 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyu's Miguel Godoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Gois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute Guaberto Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Gois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Gaszynski might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Lartaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Gaszynski ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Lizar during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Olimpo booed when Cachiyuyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cachiyuyu's Ceferino Lartaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyu from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Che during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Cachiyuyu got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Che. In the 94th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Gois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute Guaberto Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Gois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachiyuyu.
