The Solitario F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Eusebio Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Esiquio made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Octavio Richie sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Egoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Urbano Esiquio, 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Leeds United's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Anundsson came free, but Romeo Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Hitz in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbano Esiquio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Solitario F.C.'s Urbano Esiquio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Solitario F.C. from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Gabino got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eugenio Erramun. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Edelmiro Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Esiquio having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Solitario F.C.'s Dionisio Larra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Belasko. That made the score 2-2 after 55 minutes of play. Urbano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Guilabertus in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leeds United's Edelmiro Egoi got a free kick in the 70th minute. Urbano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Richie in the 75th minute of play. Hernan Maule made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Celso Hitz immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Larra got free with Romeo Belasko in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Richie in the 87th minute of play forced Solitario F.C.'s goalkeeper Urbano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Hitz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Urbano Esiquio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds United. In the 95th minute Octavio Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Octavio Richie made a precise shot to the right of Urbano Esiquio. Solitario F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Leeds United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
