Teodosio Quintana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Nicanor Ibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Virgilio Pacorro made a huge save. In the 10th match minute, Patagon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Belasko to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Virgilio Pacorro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Virgilio Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Lluques in the 15th minute of the match. If Ambrosio Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pacorro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquinita FC's zone, Ambrosio Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Quintana came out of the goal and Ambrosio Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodosio Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Patrido in the 24th minute of the match. When Cipriano Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Patagon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Patrido couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Patagon's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lluques came free, but Virgilio Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Maquinita FC's Jorge Comas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of La Maquinita FC booed when Patagon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bertil Plomgaard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgilio Pacorro. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. Nicanor Ibar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Ibar to make the kick off. Virgilio Pacorro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Lluques went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Cipriano Patrido might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Quintana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Patrido ran back to his position shaking his head. When La Maquinita FC's Tomas Lluques in 58 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Virgilio Pacorro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 60 minutes into the match, La Maquinita FC's Tomas Lluques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Pacorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Patagon's Teobaldo Belasko got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cipriano Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patagon's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Patrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Quintana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Quintana having to interfere. La Maquinita FC's Bertil Plomgaard got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Patagon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Osorio to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Ibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Pacorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Tomas Lluques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Pacorro having to make a save. Patagon's Ambrosio Casado got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Patagon's Cipriano Patrido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After 91 played minutes Patagon got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Belasko. Cipriano Patrido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Teodosio Quintana made a huge save. La Maquinita FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
