Ismael Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafin Oalo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Cristian Osoitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteban Llope. Cristian Osoitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Generoso Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Machado having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Oalo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Osoitz's late challenge caught a Libero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Osoitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Copetonas getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristian Osoitz hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Copetonas's Eliseo Abaunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Adan Astrada scored 3-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Llope, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Serafin Oalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Machado was relentless in the 57th minute of the game.
